Which race are you training for: A Marathon or Your Spiritual Journey?
Sharing her experience training for a marathon as a beginning runner who by the way hates to run. Revealing how God showed the true importance of obedience, suffering and faith in his calling in her life. Understanding that God will call us to serve Him outside of our comfort zone.
a. Discover what it means to follow God in complete obedience.
b. Keeping yourself connected to God in difficult times so we will know it was of God and not of self.
c. Praising God even with aching feet and muscles.
God’s System- A method to achieve a healthy Spiritual Body after brokenness
Knowing that God created us and is always with us. We tend to worry more about our physical health and less about our Spiritual health. Encouraging journalizing and finding true maturity that only comes when we have completeness in Christ according to God’s plan for our lives not our own. We can not have a healthy body without a healthy Spirit.
We will exam four different ways to achieve the health we desire:
a. Honoring God with our Heads – Being in God’s word daily to understand His desire for our health and
well being.
b. Honoring God with our Hands – Prayer and it’s important to our Spiritual growth and connection with 

Our Living God.
c. Honoring God with our Emotions – Understanding that God created us in his own image and that the
emotions we feel for other are characteristic from our Heavenly Father. Learn how to tap into our
emotions as Christ did. To Love unconditionally.
d. Honoring God with our Hearts – Understanding and knowing God’s desire in our life to develop and
pure Heart for serving and loving Him. Learn that it is more about serving others than ourselves.
Looking at the fruits of the spirit: Joy, Love, faithful, kindness, peace and gentleness by examining
our own patchwork hearts.
Keeping your Family together in a World the is pulling them apart
Sharing Godly way to unify your family by teaching God’s principles at an early age. Being parents and not their best friends, yet still allowing them to be the individuals that God has created them to be. Going to God for advice and discernment in the tough times.
a. Connect with your Spouse to set your family’s code to live by under God(CTLBUG-otherwise known as your cuddle bug).
b. Invest in your Spouse and compromise.
c. Taking time to have dinner together and other activities.
d. Having vacations together- not expensive- like camping.
e. Turning the TV, computer, game boys, cell phones off and playing a board game together.
f. Know their friends and truly care about their opinions. Talk…….
g. Using God’s advice to understanding true fellowship with your family and making them a priority in your life. Yes, there will be sacrifices as well as frequent Mom taxi rides.
Being a True Worshiper – how to lead others to connect to God through praise and worship
Discover what it means to truly to praise and worship. It is so much more than a song. God has given us many ways to offer praise and to worship Him every moment of every day. Striving for excellence and not perfection. Only God is the perfect worshipper.
a. Understanding how to Praise Him through prayer.
